When M3 Technology Group was founded, the idea behind the company was about more than just providing great AV solutions. We also wanted to create a place where our employees would be proud to work. We wanted them to feel engaged and appreciated in their work at all times, pushing each other to get better, while also valuing the spirit of teamwork and unity that makes us all better as a company.

Since building a company like that was our goal from the very beginning, it’s always thrilling to get confirmations that our employees feel we have succeeded in doing so. It happened earlier in the year when M3 was named a Nashville Business Journal Best Places to Work, and now it’s happened again. M3 has been added to The Tennessean list of Top Work Places for 2014.

This recognition isn’t just about making M3 look good either; it’s also part of what’s helped us grow our business. This award serves as recognition of our high level of employee engagement and pride in our work, which in turn translates into the positive attitude and customer-first mentality that goes into every job we do. It’s this approach that’s helped us become a leading AV solutions provider to higher education institutions and corporations throughout the South.

The results of the Top Work Places are based on real survey results from the employees themselves, and we’re proud that our employees took the time to participate and give their feedback. We’re also especially glad that some of you who filled out the survey named the positives of working here as an uplifting place to work, where the people really care about each other. Others mentioned the strength of our teamwork and their confidence in the direction of the company. These are all things the core leadership team has hoped to create at M3, so it’s truly great to see that it’s become a reality.

The Top Workplaces page demonstrates some of what makes M3 so great, like our Kart Day outing in March. However, a great workplace isn’t just about hosting fun events for our employees. It’s equally important to have a place where employees feel appreciated, and where they appreciate one another.

We’re happy to be getting more recognition as a great workplace, but we plan to keep working to make M3 even better going into the future!
